COURSE DESCRIPTION

​

The SOLO Operator Structure Clearing Course is aimed at Homeowners, LEOs and Executive Protection Agents who may have to clear the interior of a structure or a mixed environment by themselves or with a partner, in response to an Active Threat Situation.  UTMs and FoF will be used to add realism and reinforce learning. UTMs and host weapons will be provided as part of the course. 

 

The course is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge on how to navigate through the environment of a structure as an individual and or with a partner, utilizing both pistol and rifle/PDWs/Duty weapons. The skills and techniques that will be taught will enable students to thoroughly search and move through a structure using both limited and full penetration techniques, Low/No/Mixed Light situations while maintaining security for themselves and others.

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED  

​

• PISTOL with Weapon mounted light (or handheld) and holster

• Rifle/PDW (Optional unless this is your primary duty weapon)

• Weapon mounted light and sling

• Eye protection

• IFAK

• Spare batteries for electronics

• Clothing suitable for both inside and outside activity in a shoot house (Range gear)

• Water/food (None on site or nearby)

• Note taking materials

• Any duty related equipment that you would wear/carry with you while working

• NO AMMUNITION, THIS IS UTM/FoF and DRYFIRE ONLY.
